License

The License page shows the state of your subscription, how many devices you’re entitled to monitor, and which features are included in your plan.

Open it from Configure → System Configuration → License.

Installation ID

At the top of the page is your Installation ID — a unique identifier for this instance. Click the copy icon next to it if support asks you for it. Underneath, you’ll see when this installation last checked in with GridNMS. Click Check in (top right) to refresh your license status immediately instead of waiting for the next automatic check.

Subscription status

A badge shows your current state:

State	What it means
Free Trial	You’re on a time-limited trial. The page shows how many of your trial days remain.
Active	You have a paid subscription in good standing.
Grace Period	A payment attempt failed. You’re still fully up and running, but you’re on the clock — the page shows how many days remain before service is interrupted. Update your billing details before it runs out.
Expired	Your license has lapsed. Monitoring data collection is paused until you renew.

Below the badge, Device limit shows how many devices you can monitor on your current plan. If you’ve purchased add-on device packs, both the total and the breakdown are shown. Trying to add a device beyond your limit is refused with a clear message telling you your current count and limit — remove a device, or upgrade, to add more.

If your subscription isn’t active, an Upgrade to paid plan button takes you to a secure payment page to add billing details. Once that’s done, you’re brought back here with a confirmation that your license is now active.

Note

A banner also appears at the top of every page when your trial is ending, a payment has failed, or your license has expired, so you don’t have to visit this page to notice. The Free Trial banner can be dismissed (it reappears as the deadline gets closer); the Grace Period and Expired banners stay until you resolve them.

Features

The Features card lists the add-ons included in your plan, each with a checkmark or an X showing whether it’s included:

Advanced Alerting	Extended detection and notification capabilities.
Workload Monitoring (Docker/KVM)	Monitoring for Docker and KVM workloads.
GPU Monitoring	Monitoring for GPU hardware.

Below the feature list, a separate row shows your Forwarder Management seats — how many unmanaged log sources (forwarders and raw log senders not tied to a monitored device) your plan allows, or Unlimited. See Forwarder Management for what this covers.
